You will need to purchase the HeartCode BLS Online Course from the AHA website for $31.00. The American Heart Association Heartsaver Pediatric CPR/AED/FA (First Aid) course is tailored to equip individuals with the critical skills needed to respond to emergencies involving children and infants. Designed for parents, teachers, childcare providers, and anyone who interacts with young children, this course covers CPR techniques specifically for pediatric patients, including infants and children. Participants also learn how to use automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and gain basic first aid skills relevant to pediatric emergencies, such as choking, burns, and allergic reactions. The course typically combines online modules with hands-on training sessions to ensure proficiency in life-saving techniques. This course is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult and child CPR and AED use, infant CPR, and how to relieve choking in adults, children, and infants. This course teaches skills with the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’ learning of skills.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

Online Course, Web-based and accessible 24 hours a day, provides a flexible alternative to classroom training. Through case-based scenarios, interactive activities and videos, this course teaches the concepts of both single-rescuer and team basic life support. This course may be used for initial or renewal BLS Healthcare Providers course completion. You will receive your AHA Keycode via email within 24 hours of Scheduling.
After completion of Online course; Call (336) 285-8003 to schedule your In-Person Skills Check Off to obtain your Certification. You must bring your Online Certificate of completion to the skills check off.
